my memory of the yeah yeah yeahs stays in their performance on mtv videomusic awards a couple of years ago.
i dont remember when. but it was my first time seeing them.
i remember her silver dress with a huge rose on her shoulder.
i remember them standing on a grassy stage.
and then at the end of "maps", the petals fall from above.
this memory is vivd.
